It seems to be that when we follow the leading of the Gospel concerning life, then we create an opportunity for God to act. The leading of the Gospel is summed up in the verse from the book of Isaiah.
"and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry
and satisfy the needs of the oppressed,
then your light will rise in the darkness,
and your night will become like the noonday.
The LORD will guide you always;
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.
Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins
and will raise up the age-old foundations;
you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls,
Restorer of Streets with Dwellings".
(Isaiah 58:10 -12)
But the question is how can we care about the poor when we are lost in the struggles and desires of our own needs? We have to meet the one who gave His life for us; The one who became poor to make us rich.
This encounter with Jesus Christ makes us loved and cared for enough to be inspired to abandon ourselves into His hands and His mission of loving, seeking and saving the lost.

My name is Obinna Adigwe from London UK..I thank God and the Risen Lord for this Isaiah 58 divine love because last year God opened my eyes to this great divine mission.So i started praying since then for His guidance and more inspiration on how,when and where to start for the work is beyond my capability but i notice that sometimes i fell overwhelm by the task mainly because God put it personal in my spirit and i have not heard the message from anywhere which makes me think it is my own illusion.But since this morning God has been speaking more clearly to me about giving more of myself and talent to help the needy through various means at home and during adoration.So coming on here now to read this article on Isaiah 58 by His grace is just the confirmation and the Faith i needed to convince me without doubt that the inspiration is from God not my illusion..And for this my heart and spirit is full of joy knowing fully that if i stand firm in God words by His grace,that God will give me with the right people the wisdom and strength to fully fulfill all His works and promises through the power of the Holy Spirit.
